History:
William Stones began brewing on this site in 1847, and purchased the lease of Neepsend Brewery in 1868, renaming it Cannon Brewery. Popular for Stones Bitter and even became UK’s best bitters in the 90s. The brewery closed its doors in 1999. Since then, the building has been sitting for over 20 years but there are plans to develop this area as of yet no work has begun on the site.

We started our exploration at the distribution centre, everyone got over the wall quickly except Dani who had to make a makeshift ladder with an abandoned bed frame. Once over the warehouse was small with lots of graffiti, a few lorry trailers left baron, and the main building in the warehouse was an empty shell which Giuseppe explored on his own. Once we had walked around this area, we went to the entry point of the main buildings. Unfortunately, as the entry point was small only a few of us managed to get in. Giuseppe is filming throughout this part around the building. Incredible graffiti around the building. This one was quite dangerous, falling apart and having many holes in the ground. This shouldn’t be attempted alone, and you will need a few hours here as there are areas we missed.
