We had so much family fun dancing in the purple rain in spring! Orange County pops with these beautiful bright purple trees in California each spring.

Jacaranda mimosifolia, also known as blue jacaranda, or simply jacaranda is native to South America. Now you can find them in Southern California and other warmer areas of the world.

Typically they bloom anytime from the end of May to the end of June in southern California depending on the year. Have you ever seen these trees?
