Interesting wine indeed; while the nose suggest a more earthy, woody, barreled structure of a wine, the palette reminds me of the Apothic wine series done previously on the channel with sweet dark red fruit characteristics, a hint of rum possibly, perhaps a subtle chocolate included. Very smooth, very balanced, highly recommend for people new to red wine that don't want to be overwhelmed by the tannins and dry mouth.
