One YouTube users theory really seems to fit the hidden meaning to this song (It was I...DIO!!): "I'm seeing a young man (who's a little crazy) who was obsessed with a girl while she was alive. She died suddenly (or could, have been kidnapped by the guy and killed) and he took the body, he kept it clean, gave her new parts when old ones rotted. He keeps her a secret from his mother who soon finds the girls dead body and buries her while the son is away. She sends him a letter of how she disapproved of him and his activities with the girl, and disowns him because of his insane behavior. The guys heart breaks because his mother 'threw her out'...abandoned her. So, he takes it upon himself to find her - and he does. Inside a doll...or it could represent a coffin, which he dug up."
