Seed Starting Time Is Here My Friends! The beginning of a great garden year all starts with our seedlings. And to get the best seedlings, a good starting soil mix is the foundation.

Seeding soils are a different beast than regular garden soils and today we'll discuss why. What are the made of and why are we after specific properties. Once you get a proper seeding mix, nothing else will do!

On top of that, we'll go through the process of making not one but two different seeding soils on our own! If you're doing more starter plants than the average bear, it could be time to start making your own seeding soil!
