Varamin (/værɑːˈmɪn/; Persian: ورامين‎, also Romanized as Varāmīn and Verāmin; anciently known as Varna and Varena) is a city and capital of Varamin County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 218,991, and at the 2006 census, its population was 208,569, in 53,639 families.
Pishva County (Persian: شهرستان پیشوا‎) is a county in Tehran Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Pishva. Before 2010 Pishva was a part of Varamin County. At the 2016 census, the county's population was 86,601, in 25,704 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Jalilabad District. The county has one city: Pishva.
