As part of our farmer-led Mob Grazing Scotland video series, we follow Doug Christie on a tour of his farm as he talks us through moving his bulls and calves, including the benefits of doing so. Doug farms 500 acres of organic beef (AA*) and arable crops - conventional linseed, wheat, barley, oats, peas, beans and oilseed rape - at Durie Farm in Leven, Fife. He’s also involved in a range of intercropping crop trials with the James Hutton Institute and SRUC, in addition to trialling organic oil seed rape.
