I ordered the Yuzu Shio (their signature dish consisting of shio tare, chicken broth, yuzu, bamboo, egg, chashu pork, endive, fried garlic and nori) Forgot what the wife ordered but hers was a darker thicker broth! I’m not usually a ramen person but when in Tokyo you gotta get at least one bowl. The Yuzu Shio Bowl was light and refreshing, you could taste the citrus in the broth which gave it a lighter less oily taste in the broth. The meat was perfectly cooked browned on the coals before being placed into the bowl. Overall I actually enjoyed this particular type of ramen, the reason I don’t usually like ramen is because it’s usually to oily for me, I prefer a cleaner broth or just udon. Anyways washed it all down with my last highball of the trip! Check out Afuri ramen if you’re looking for a ramen fix, or just a different type of ramen altogether.
