Join us on Sunday, August 12th, at 12:15 p.m. as we present the first ever Edward MacDowell Medal for Comic Art to Pulitzer Prize-Winning graphic novel pioneer Art Spiegelman!
Each August art lovers from around the country converge on the lush MacDowell Colony grounds to celebrate the achievements of a leading voice in American culture. This event is free and open to the public and includes a picnic and open studios with artists-in-residence.

MacDowell Colony Chairman, Fellow, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon wrote the script for this short film and publisher Drawn & Quarterly provided images from Art Spiegelman's 2013 book "Co-Mix".
