[Synopsis]

In this video, I run a number of emulators on my 9 year old MSI Ge70 Apache Pro-12 laptop. This laptop is pretty much outdated, but I did a number of upgrades to it, like add a msata 500 GB SSD, and added 16 GB of ram to it a few years back. Laptops have less power than its desktop counterparts, so they become outdated much sooner than its desktop counterparts. I still take this laptop when I go on trips, but it isn't a computer I use on a daily basis.

The emulators that I test are the following, Nintendo GameCube, Sony PSP, Sony Playstation 2, and the Sega Dreamcast. A old laptop like this may not be able to run the latest PC games, but it can run the most difficult emulators without many problems. You can still use 9 to 12 year old laptops if you have a Windows 10 or Windows 11 O.S. on it. You can use those old laptops to check email, surf the internet, shopping online, cloud computing, and retro gaming. They aren't entirely useless.
