The weekend of the 24th - 26th of March saw the return of the Swanage Railway spring steam gala with an intense timetable of two six-coach passenger trains running between Swanage and Norden, then tot and tailing between Norden and the River Frome viaduct. The timetable also included a demonstration goods train made up of ballast wagons running between Swanage and Corfe Castle. the roster for the gala consisted of three home fleet locos and two visiting engines.
