Lack of service delivery continues to be a norm in most rural areas in the Eastern Cape. Residents at Ngoma locality in Willowvale fix their own roads and built a bridge with the assistance of local businessmen. Due to dilapidated roads, residents allege that no ambulances have been to this area. This mostly affects pregnant women who have given birth at home, resulting in their children not being registered with Home Affairs.
The residents allege that they have reported their plight to the Mbhashe municipality numerous times, without any intervention.
