In this video I am going to show step by step instructions on changing the batteries on your blink doorbell.

Before you start you will need to the tool that came with the doorbell. But don’t worry if you can’t find it, a flat headed screwdriver will do the job just fine.

Take the tool and press the grey clip on the underneath of the doorbell. While the clip is being pressed hold the doorbell and gently lift it up and pull it towards you.

The doorbell should come off its mounting bracket with minimal effort.

I will now show you this from a few angles using the tool and the screwdriver so you can make sure you are doing it right.


Now the doorbell is removed you will need to remove the battery housing on the back of the camera. To do this simply press the grey clip and lift the battery housing cover.

You can now replace the batteries.

You can now put the battery housing cover back on the doorbell. When you do this make sure the clip, clips in place.

You are now ready to remount the doorbell. To do this put the top of the doorbell on the mounting clips and then firmly push the bottom of the bell to clip it in place. If you have any difficulties you can push in the grey clip to help you.

And that it, you have now successfully replaced the batteries on your blink doorbell.
