We stopped La Goulette cruise port in Tunis, Tunisia on our MSC cruise in the Mediterranean. We were excited about visiting Tunisia for the first time and were excited about seeing some of the sights in the capital city, Tunis.

The area where the ships dock in Tunis is called La Goulette cruise port. You won't be able to walk to the Medina of Tunis or Downtown Tunis. You will be able to get taxis when you get off the ship. There's so much to see in Tunis, Tunisia though that I'd recommend an excursion like the Grand Tour of Tunis cruise excursion that we did.

We were taken to some of the top sights in Tunis on our cruise excursion. We visited the Medina of Tunis, the Roman city of Carthage, Ksar Saïd Palace and Sidi Bou Said. We really enjoyed it and found it to be a good mix of the local attractions. It was a great way of doing some sightseeing in different parts of Tunis.

Overall, we enjoyed our stop in La Goulette cruise port and our day in Tunis, Tunisia. It's a lovely city with some great things to see and do! 🏛️
