Finally reaching Vallée Des Merveilles, the Valley of Wonders, through the Vallon d'Empuonrame. It is spring time and bare ground start to appear in the valley as snow is slowly melting, painting the valley and surrounding mountains with beautiful stripes of black, grey and white as the rocks is uncovered. Amazing weather and timing gave us a most rewarding, breathtaking view as we where hiking through the valley and climbing some of the surrounding summits.

This valley is not only incredibly beautiful, it is also part of UNESCO world heritage with ancient rock paintings covering some of the rocks here. It is one of the absolute gems of Mercantour National Park.
