Just like the Mirage F1C-200, this is a choice of the lesser of two evils. It works, but... honestly it feels like it's probably the worst of the premiums, with only AIM-9Ps, AIM-7Es (not E-2s) and lacking agile eagle, it does not even have the speed of the F-104S. It's still the best way to grind Japan of course, and it can work... just not as well as something like a F-4S, MiG-23ML or Kfir Canard.
