Hey everyone! Today I'm posting a video on the process of swapping out the stock vintage 30 speakers in my Harley Benton 2 x 12 cabinet, for the V30's that are stock in the Mesa Boogie over sized 4x12 recto cabinets! I highly recommend you familiarize yourself with wiring and impedance if you plan on doing this to one of your guitar cabinets. It would be a bummer if you went through all this hassle, and then found out that your amp doesn't support the impedance of your new wiring configuration, or worse you DAMAGE a piece of equipment because you end up running it incorrectly!

But aside from that, changing out your speakers can give your guitar cabinet new life and maybe change the sound of it completely! You know that I feel like guitar cabs make up a majority of your tone, so it makes sense that swapping speakers would dramatically effect your tone as well!

Also, don't let the size fool you. 2x12's are loud AF.
