Is this a dangerous Colombian Neighbourhood? Comuna 8 in Medellin looked very Dangerous! But the people I met were very kind and friendly!

I wanted to experience the real Columbia! I went to Comuna 13 before, but it was very touristy, I wanted to see what life is like in a real Colombian hood! I took this trip in Medellin to Comuna 8 to get the real Colombian experience! Coming into the community on the metro cable it looked dangerous and i was skeptical. However, once I started to meet the people I started to feel less nervous about the place. The locals were so nice to me I even started to feel very welcome!
Thus far I have been loving Columbia and Medellin! I don't think the city deserves the bad reputation it has, because thus far it seems nothing but good vibes :D
