Hullámvasút is a rare example of a wooden scenic railway roller coaster with a brakeman riding on board. The coaster was built in 1922 although didn't open until 1926. I visited Vidámpark in Budapest, Hungary, in 2005 as part of the European Coaster Club Rhapsody Tour. Video shows a complete front seat ride on this historical rarity. Sadly the coaster has been closed for a number of years, as the park closed in 2015. Hopefully the ride will continue to be maintained and will open again in the near future.
