This poem is a part of Tagore's book 'Sesher Kabita'. But, originally it was included in collection named 'Mahua'. The poem was written in 1335 of Bengali calendar year, in the month Ashar in the city Bangalore (now Bengaluru).
এই কবিতাটি রবীন্দ্রনাথের 'শেষের কবিতা' গ্রন্থের অন্তর্গত। তবে, আসলে এটি তাঁর 'মহুয়া' কাব্যগ্রন্থের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। বাংলা ১৩৩৫ সনের বর্ষাকালে ব্যাঙ্গালোর শহরে বসে লেখা।
