Love the blue LEDs on both the keyboard and the mouse. The keyboard reminds me of the older style mechanical keyboards somewhat due to the sound and partially because of the feel which is kinda cool.

The mouse is pretty lite in weight, for some that might be an issue but I like it. I do easily hit the back button on the mouse sometimes but it is mostly likely due to the other mice I am accustomed to using.

The keys are very responsive and the mouse clicks and wheel all feel very nice in operation. I have a mouse I have been using that it is very hard to press the middle mouse button, this mouse does not have that problem at all. The middle mouse button does no offer any left/right movement but at this price point such isn't really expected.

The lighting isn't overly bright so even in a dark room it looks good but is not over powering. Using th function key you can adjust the intensity. The Windows key lock and the media shortcut keys work great and I didn't have to install any software on my Windows 7 x64 machine to begin using them. The repeat rate can also be adjusted with this keyboard to match your personal preferences. You also have an option to the WASD and arrow keys function which for some could be a great option. Doing this will cause for example the W to become the up arrow key. Although not included the replaceable metal caps will be an attractive option for some owners. The option to have the lights on, off, or pulsing is also a pretty cool option to see for the low price of this combo.

Being spill resistant is a nice thing to see but hopefully never have to test!

If the mouse had programmable buttons that'd be outstanding but as is this for the current price of @29.99 is a steal of a deal.
