The law:
- creates a positive duty on employers to implement measures to prevent sexual harassment, sex discrimination and victimisation within the workplace; and
- confers new regulatory powers on the Commission to monitor compliance, investigate complaints, issue compliance notices, and enforceable undertakings on corporations in breach of the legislation.
