The family of Constable Callan Andrews, supported by community members, is holding a peace march in his honour.
The 30-year-old police officer was shot dead on New Year’s Eve in Katanga, Gelvandale, after the patrol vehicle he was using broke down.
The march is a call for justice and safer working conditions for police officers.
In a significant development, two suspects, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested in connection with Constable Andrews’ murder. The Hawks are leading the investigation.
