Sunny side up eggs have long been a classic breakfast and brunch favorite. But why settle for the ordinary? Try our delicious Mushroom Sunny Side Up recipe and take your breakfast game to the next level! 🍳😉
You'll need
1 tbsp butter
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
200 g mushrooms
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Here's how
First, melt the butter in a non-stick pan.
Add diced red and green peppers and sauté for a few minutes until they soften.
Once the peppers lose their firmness, add thinly sliced mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms release and absorb their moisture.
After the vegetables are well-cooked, create two empty spaces in between. Crack the egg whites into the gaps, followed by the yolks.
Add salt and ground black pepper, then cook the eggs for about 2 minutes. If you prefer your eggs to be more solid, you can extend the cooking time.
Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, the dish is ready to be served. Enjoy!
