THREE MEMBERS GANG HELD BY SOT RACHAKONDA FOR COMMITTING SERIES OF ROBBERIES AND EXTORTIONS AT LATE NIGHTS IN THE LIMITS OF RACHAKONDA AND HYDERABAD COMMISSIONERATES AND SEIZED ONE CAR (SWIFT DEZIRE), EIGHT SMART PHONES AND 15,000/- CASH ALL WORTH RS/- 10 LAKHS FROM THEIR POSSESSION.

On the tip of information, the Slueths of SOT Malkajgiri Zone apprehended three hardcore offenders who are indulging frequently in Robberies and Extortions by threatening the passersby and snatching away their wallets, Cell Phones and Vehicles during the night time. The Police seized one Swift Dezire Car bearing No. TS08UB9515, Eight Mobile Phones and 15,000/- cash from their possession.
Details of the Accused persons:-
1. Vorala Santosh Kumar s/o V.Madhu, age:20yrs, Occ:Mechanic, r/o:7-183, Lenin nagar, Huda Colony, Meerpet, N/o:Raasnam Village, Thandur.
2. Ningyadi Shiva s/o Laxmaiah, age:19yrs, r/o:H.No.9-114, Lenin Nagar, Huda Colony, Meerpet N/o: Karthal Village, Wanaparthy District.
3. Mondal Sai Kumar s/o Yadagiri, age:19yrs, Occ:bike cleaner, r/o:Uppuguda, Chatrinaka, Hyderabad, N/o:- Mondigourelli village, Yacharam Mandal
4. Raju @ Jcb r/o: Lenin Nagar, Huda colony, Meerpet. ( Absconding)
Brief facts:
The four accused persons Santosh kumar, Shiva, Sai kumar, Raju all resident of Lenin Nagar, Huda colony, meerpet area formed into a gang who are regularly indulging in criminal activities during the night time since few years and committing property offences and absconding to faraway places spending amount for lavishly by fulfilling their desires and returing back after few weeks and again committing the same type of offences.
These four gang members got habituated to bad habits of consuming Ganja, Liquour etc., and with criminal intention for extorting money from the innocent people will move in the area during night odd hours in intoxicated condition and will target the individuals in the isolated place threatening them with dire consequences and snatches away their wallets, money, valuables, cell phones and vehicles from them and will sell the same to the public for consuming liquor and other bad habits.
On 15.10.2018 at 00:10 hours, the four accused persons after consuming liquor went to balapur area threatened the cab driver and confined him in the back seat and forcibly took the car keys and his mobile phone and took the car to saifabad area and left him near tankbund and escaped in the car. While they were proceeding towards choutuppal area they found two persons in the night sleeping infront of the shop at thoopran village. All the four persons went and threatened them and forcibly snatched 11,000/- from them.
Subsequently two Robbery cases were registered one at Saifabad PS and second at Choutuppal PS. On the tip of information the SOT Malkajgiri team apprehended three persons Santosh Kumar, Shiva and Saikumar at Lenin nagar, under meerpet police stations limits and the accused persons have confessed that they have committed number of cell phones snatchings and money/wallet snatchings from the passersby at LB Nagar, Balapur, Meerpet areas and some of the cell phones sold out to the passers and spent the money for their luxuries needs. Previously the accused Shiva was arrested by Meerpet PS in a Murder case in the year 2015 vide Cr.No. 624/2018 U/Sec 302 IPC., which is PT
