Learn how to make a cool floating static flyer out of simple household materials in this awesome live experiment video hosted by Huw James.
Using only a bin bag, a pair of scissors, a balloon and the magic of static electricity you can make your own levitating craft and fly it around the house!
Simply take a bin bag, cut it off near the top and your left with a hoop shaped piece of plastic. Next, inflate your balloon and imbue it with a static charge. Yes, rub it on your t-shirt! Now do the same with your hoop shaped plastic floater.
Once you have them both charged up, it's time for lift off. Invite your friends round and have dogfights, stage an alien invasion of the living room, whatever!
