the execution of the swearing-in of Uhuru Kenyatta as the country's fourth president was conducted with military precision. In line with what was planned by the Committee on the Assumption of office, the ceremony went on smoothly with the President taking the oath of office at exactly 12.59 pm followed by his deputy William Ruto eleven minutes later in effect beating the 2pm constitutional deadline.
