Touring dates for 2022 included South Shields Carnival and dance troupe Rhythm who set off early by coach to attend the event. The crowd was very appreciative and the participants had a great day in the North East.
Plans to return to this event are expected in 2023.
Rhythm dance troupe are based in Penwortham and their member numbers are increasing year on year with a current membership of over 50 ranging from aged 7 to 35 year olds and including parents as well as kids. Group leader is Maisie who has many years experience of Preston Caribbean Carnival and she is keen to get involved with costume making to compliment her dance routines.
