Chapter 4: Impacts of Climate Change

The German Climate Consortium, in collaboration with WWF Germany, has developed an interdisciplinary Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on climate change and its consequences. The course launched in October 2017 and was availble until January 2023.

Climate change is one of the major challenges for the international community. However, there is no intuitive approach to the problem. In the lecture series, scientists from DKK member institutions present the scientific basis of climate change and its consequences for nature and society. Short video lectures, animations, images and graphics ensure that the scientifically challenging material is exciting and vivid for the users– so that fact-based knowledge is available for everyone.
