#Walk with us in #Inverness, Scotland, the historic capital of the Scottish Highlands, steeped in history and #Outlander lore. Take a stroll with us beginning at Blackfriars Burial Ground and heading down Friar’s Lane toward the Old High Church, passing by Leakey’s Bookshop (one of the largest secondhand bookshops in Scotland, which is under renovation). We will then walk down Academy Street heading toward the Inverness #Rail Station passing by the old Rose Street Foundry and Engraving Company and the East Church. We will head into The Victorian Market, a 19th century shopping arcade before exiting down Union Street and ending on Church Street.

Fans of the #Outlander series will note the significance the Old High Church plays with its connection to the Battle of #Culloden with, of course, many of the scenes in the book set in Inverness, although filmed elsewhere in Scotland.
