This was a member of the first onslaught of the compacts!...the Falcon, the Comet, the Corvair and the Lancer, and of course the Rambler American. This car and its twin, the Lancer, had the most unusual styling...definitely European with all those body creases and tire treatment on the decklid. Inside, it was one of the first to offer an alternator, and of course the terrific slant 6 engine and torqueflite 3 speed automatic!
