How to get the wifi working on a rMBP -retina Macbook Pro- with linux. in this video i'm using kali linux but it will work on every linux...
if you need the wifi network to attempt cracking wifi network on your macbook pro, and can't manage to get the monitor mode working, try with this command: "echo 1 *output redirect symbol* /proc/brcm_monitor0"
and have fun!
PS:
BROADCOM 4360 comes with two different chips:
14E4:4360 NOT SUPPORTED
and
14E4:43A0 SUPPORTED
see if your wifi card is supported:
lspci -vnn |grep -i net
install the wl drivers:
apt-get update
apt-get install linux-headers-$*parenthesis*uname -r|sed 's,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,'*parenthesis* broadcom-sta-dkms
*thanks youtube for not allowing parentheses in the description
remove the conflicting pre-installed drivers
modprobe -r b44 b43 b43legacy ssb brcmsmac
load the wl driver
modprobe wl
