Thatcham Research alongside Euro NCAP have created the world’s first Assisted Driving Grading to give motorists the crucial insight they need to understand how to use today’s assisted driving technology safely.

Many new vehicles feature assisted driving systems that have been developed to support the driver. However, there is significant potential for carmakers to overstate the capability of their current assisted driving technology and for motorists to misuse it.

In this video, we discuss the top performing vehicles and how the grading works.

This film sees us test out the latest Mercedes GLE, BMW 3-Series, Tesla Model 3, Volvo V60, Ford Kuga and Renault Clio with Thatcham Research's Head of Research, Matthew Avery and Lee McKenzie.
