CM Chandrababu Naidu said that no action can be taken against the Adani Group until concrete proof is obtained. This comes a month after he promised action involving the Adani group and solar power deal under the previous Y S Jaganmohan Reddy administration. Telugu Desam Party, the key NDA ally, has decided to step back. Naidu said that the state government cannot scrap contracts unless there is adequate proof of irregularities. “We have to pay high penalties if we scrap the contracts. Unless there is clear proof, we cannot take action,” he said.
