There is a large fire raging in our neighbouring community Masiphumelele.
TEARS is currently evacuating animals out of Masi with the assistance of all the emergency services on site.
Our veterinary hospital is busy accommodating the animals fleeing the fire, and preparing for many, many more animals.
Three weeks ago, Masi suffered a fire and we rescued animals with burned wounds, singed paw pads and whiskers, smoke inhalation, injuries and gashes from fleeing the fire.
