*2022 Update* To respond to the growing market and customer needs, ResMed has introduced an SD card version of the AirSense 10 that doesn’t have wireless capabilities but is the exact same AirSense 10 model reviewed in this video. To reflect this change, we’ve decided to update our review of the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet (Card-to-Cloud) to help you decide on the best CPAP machine for your sleep apnea therapy. The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet is one of the quietest CPAP machines on the market today and comes with a built-in heated humidifier-- a nice benefit that saves money over the cost of buying a humidifier in addition to the cost of the unit.
We said the AirSense 10 AutoSet is quiet.
It checks in at 26 decibels, roughly the sound of whispering. Most people can barely hear it running.
The low amount of noise from the machine makes it easier to fall asleep, and it's one reason why many people like it.
The AirSense 10 is also very lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space on your bedside, and it packs easily in a suitcase, meaning you could travel with it if you wanted to.
The machine also has a color LCD display that allows you to get instant access to your therapy data, so you'll know exactly how you did the night before.
We also like the AirSense 10 because it has available an optional heated tube, that helps cut down on water splashes inside the hose. Heated tubing is a little more expensive than standard hoses, but it adds another layer of comfort to CPAP machine therapy.
