Are you trying to develop max contraction strength or strength endurance?
For maximal contraction strength, program lower volume, higher intensity, and lower time under tension.
E.g. Back Squat @30X0, 2-2-2-1-1
Max contraction strength should be trained by advanced lifters who have developed a base of motor control and strength endurance.
For strength endurance, program higher volume, lower intensity, and higher time under tension.
E.g. Back Squat @3210, 8-10 reps x 3 sets
Strength endurance can be trained by intermediate and advanced lifters because they’ve developed adequate motor control to get a strength endurance dose-response.
