Cecil and Florence Chinn operated a photography studio and shop on Queen Street West, Brampton. Here's some footage of the shop, in the mid-1940s.
The film was shot in 1942, or later. Chinn moved to Brampton in 1940, so we expect that it was soon after. Vivian's changed from a confectionary shop to a sporting good store at some point between 1942 and 1946, so it's after 1942.
