Fractional American Gold Eagles come with higher premiums than full ounce gold eagles when you buy. But when it comes
time to sell your gold, can you get your premiums back?

Is it better to save your money and buy a lower premium full ounce sized American Gold Eagle or to buy a fractional AGE each month instead.

As a gold stacker there's a tradeoff to buying gold at the lowest premium versus buying smaller gold coins but on a more frequent basis. If you are buying gold as a hedge against inflation, it is a great strategy to buy gold consistently over many years, but what size gold should you buy?

I look at ten years of historical gold spot price data and known gold coin prices, to compare whether it is better long term to have a single gold ounce coin each year, or ten smaller 1/10 ounce gold coins each year. But then I have two documented selling scenarios which show how much premiums you can get back when you sell.
