You people must have seen a lot of Sunday markets. As in the big cities of Pakistan, there are Sunday markets. Like the Sunday Bazaar of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, or Sunday Bazaar of other cities, Sunday Bazaar has also started in Peshawar.
The Sunday market actually opens on Sundays. It is basically a local market where farmers bring their fruits and vegetables directly and residents of Peshawar can get them at a relatively cheap price. There are also small stalls of crockery, household goods, etc. You can find second-hand sports equipment like branded boots, cricket equipment, football equipment, and so on at a good price.
This is a great place to buy second-hand imported products. People used to come from different places for shopping. One thing that is very important to mention is that the prices of various items are increasing day by day. 80% of the vendors do not follow the rates set by the government. Some vendors sell vegetables and fruits. However, it is a good market for poor and middle-class people.
