A bench of Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud with Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra on Thursday had taken serious note of the Governor's refusal to re-induct Ponmudi as a minister despite the top court having stayed his conviction in criminal case last week.
Attorney General R Venkataramani today told the Court that Governor had no intention to violate the top court's order and has invited Ponmudi to swear him as a minister.
