Preparation of metal prosthesis is an indispensable part of dental clinical practice. Even minor mistakes can be overwhelming when fixing the prosthesis in the patients' mouth. This emphasizes the importance of knowledge about the casting procedures and subsequently casting defects. Using simple animations the steps of casting using lost wax technique and the resulting defects are illustrated in the video.
