Welcome to the 15th Aykut Kence Evolution Conference organized by METU Biology and Genetics Society!

In our conference, which we named after in the honour of Aykut Kence, who is one of our country's famous evolutionary biologists and who fought against evolution-opponents, we aim to tell about evolution, the theory of evolution, terms of this theory, and the relationship between these terms to our community and correct the wrong things about evolution known as right. In order to do so, we gathered many lecturers who are experts in their fields.

In this general presentation titled "Finding Your Inner Fish", Neil Shubin from Chicago University is talking about the discovery of Tiktaalik, an intermediate form between fish and tetrapods, and he is showing us our inner fish.
