Gerrit Cole is pitching like an ace and while it’s a small sample size, it’s good to see. Thanks to his pitching performance and Gleyber Torres continuing his torrid start to the season, the Yankees beat the Phillies, 4-2 and won four out of their first six games. Josh Donaldson was injured during the game and replaced at third by Isaiah Kiner-Falefa but we don’t know the status of his injury just yet. (You may know by the time this posts) We take a look at how the Yankees are doing so far this season compared to other teams in offensive and pitching categories and we briefly discuss the rainout in Baltimore, Clarke Schmidt is still being penciled in for Friday and Deivi Garcia and Matt Krook are pitching in the Scranton bullpen. Could one of them be up with the Yankees soon?
