After crews demolish a section of Seattle’s Alaskan Way Viaduct, they must remove the rubble, restore parking and reopen streets. This time-lapse video captures three weeks of work where the viaduct crossed over University Street along Seattle’s waterfront. Watch the structure come down, the rubble be sorted into concrete and rebar piles and hauled away, and the viaduct’s foundations removed and backfilled.
