The FCC has made changes to the RF-exposure rules that modify the ways that radio stations can determine whether they are exempt from the need to do a routine RF-exposure station evaluation. These slight changes become effective May 3, 2021, and determining compliance is easy. Eastern Massachusetts ARRL Technical Coordinator Dan Brown, W1DAN, will discuss what our RF exposure rules are, and show how to determine compliance for your station. ARRL Lab Manager Ed Hare, W1RFI, will join us for Q&A.
