The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme allows beneficiaries to voluntarily surrender their benefits so that other eligible people can receive them. This option is for new benefits, not to refund previous rewards. Once you surrender your benefits, you won't be able to register for the PM-KISAN scheme again and you won't receive any more financial payments.
To voluntarily surrender your benefits, you can follow these steps:
Go to the PM Kisan website.
Scroll down and click the voluntary surrender of pm-kisan benefits tab.
Enter your registration number and captcha code.
Click Get OTP.
Enter the OTP that's sent to your Aadhaar registered mobile number.
Click Yes on DO you wish to surrender your PM Kisan Benefit
Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan lead the chart of 1.16 lakh farmers who have voluntarily given up the benefits of the annual Rs 6,000 Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme across the country from June 2023 to May 2024, according to data available with the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
