Recruiting has been down across all branches but the Army is most heavily hit. Retention isn't an issue so once folks join, they tend to stay (at least at the numbers needed by the respective forces). Rather than push out more ads, maybe the Army should consider leveraging their people to spread the word for them.
What better way for a potential recruit to understand what life is like in the Army than from a current Soldier? Let's find a way to incentivize our junior Soldiers to share their experiences and help draw in the right people to make our military the force it needs to be.
