A Russian state TV broadcaster
on June 17 has aired interviews
with two captured Americans
which it claimed that
they have been captured
by Russian troops in Ukraine.
Family members said
earlier last week that
the two men had been
missing in Ukraine for a week.
Alexander Drueke, 39,
and Andy Huynh, 27,
both from Alabama
were reportedly
taken prisoner during a fight
near Kharkiv in NE Ukraine.
Meanwhile, US President Biden
claimed that his country had
no information about
the whereabouts of
the two Americans and
urged all to not travel to
Ukraine right now.
While the Russian side said
almost 7,000 foreign mercenaries
arrived in Ukraine
since the conflict,
about 2,000 of them died.
