The first day is always exciting and I was happy to be apart of it. The first month is the longest and hardest but the money made in the first month pretty much makes or breaks the whole season. Gotta make that money when you can.

Lobster fishing is the most dangerous job in our area and many fishers are lost at sea every year. My prayers go out to all the people who make their living on the sea.
